At least in our territory, bankers are not interested in the extensive business plans discussed in most books or how-to's.  Instead they just want the facts.  First, they'll look at your 1-2 page executive summary and then your 12-month cash flow statement with key underlying assumptions.  If that's attractive, they read the rest of its dozen or so pages.  Here's a good example...
